ANTIQUE ‘OXFORD’ INHALER
[lightslider_looper]

This unusual ceramic inhaler is known as the Oxford inhaler, though should not be confused with an anesthetic inhaler of the same name. It bears an attractive sepia countryside print. This is a vapour inhaler, so the medication would have been added to warm water and the vapour inhaled from a tube passing through one of the orifices c1880.
